Join the STGS as we meet up with the Austin Geological Society (AGS) for a FREE field trip to Walnut Creek to view Eagle Ford and lower Austin Chalk outcrops. After which we will view respective cores from the BEG's core library. 

Meet at the BEG by 8:00am for a quick orientation, then we will carpool to a nearby neighborhood to walk to Walnut Creek. At 12 we will break for lunch at Bouldin Acres, 1806 West Braker Lane (attendees will cover cost of their own lunch). Please reconvene at the BEG core library by 1pm for the core workshop. We expect to dismiss by 2:30pm.
